What is a cookie?
On this website, we make use of cookies. Cookies are small files that are sent along with the pages of this website and/or Flash applications and which your browser stores on your computer’s hard drive. The information contained in a cookie can be sent back to our servers next time you visit our website. These cookies are not harmful to your computer.

incubase.nl and incubase.eu uses the following cookies:

1. Functional cookies (essential cookies)
incubase.nl and incubase.eu uses cookies to make sure our websites function as intended. We use cookies to:

  • store settings to ensure optimal video playback, e.g. the desired buffer size and your screen’s resolution data;

  • avoid overloading our website to keep it accessible at all times.

2. Analytical cookies: Google Analytics
Google places cookies via our website as part of its Analytics service. We use this service to track how visitors use our website. Google may provide this information to third parties if Google has a legal obligation to do so or if these third parties process the data on Google’s behalf. We cannot influence this process. We have not given Google permission to use the Analytics data it collects for any other Google services.

The information collected by Google is anonymised as much as possible. The user’s IP address is explicitly not included. The information is transmitted to and stored on Google’s servers in the United States. Google has stated its compliance with the Safe Harbor principles and it is affiliated with the United States Department of Commerce’s Safe Harbor programme. This means that appropriate security measures have been taken for processing personal data.

We use cookies to:

  • optimise our website.

3. Tracking cookies: Social media
Incubase.nl and incubase.eu uses cookies to share the contents of our website via social media. The articles and videos you view on our website can be shared via social media by clicking on the respective buttons. To make sure these buttons function as intended, we use social media cookies from the social media networks, which allow these networks to recognise you when you want to share an article or a video.

These cookies therefore make it possible to directly share some of the content on our website via social media, e.g. Twitter or Facebook, as long as the user is logged in to their social media account. When it comes to the cookies that the various social media networks use and the data they may collect with them, we also refer to the privacy statements issued by the parties themselves on their own websites; see the links below. Note that these privacy statements are subject to change and Incubase has no influence on their contents.

Enabling/disabling and deleting cookies
If want to enable or disable cookies or change your settings, you can do so via your internet browser’s settings (e.g. Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox or Chrome). More information about enabling and disabling cookies and deleting them can be found in your browser’s user manual and/or via its Help feature. These instructions differ depending on the browser you use. You can choose to activate your browser’s “do not track” features.

Deleting and accepting tracking cookies and third-party cookies
Some tracking cookies are placed by third parties that e.g. show relevant advertisements on our websites that are tailored to your preferences. You can delete these cookies altogether via Your Online Choices to ensure that they are not placed back by a third-party website. Using your browser’s settings, you can decide whether to accept cookies and if so, which ones. Where to find these settings differs per browser. You can learn more about the settings and what they mean via your browser’s Help feature.

Refusing specific cookies
If you refuse (certain) cookies, you may not be able to (fully) utilise our website’s features. Note that refusing cookies does not mean you will not see any advertisements at all. Your browser will still display ads; the only difference is that they will no longer be tailored to your wishes and preferences.
